101 Years and One Vision for the Future of Mankind
Oct 04 -26, 2003. Galleri Hlemmur, Reykjavik.
The U.W.C. Wall Map is a work created as a visualization of the geographical status of the project The Utopian World Championship. This is a temporary piece that consists of a political world map that is "drawn" with adhesive tape directly on the wall. Prints, pins and sticker dots are stuck on the wall on a number of geographical locations representing the home town of the competitors of the Utopian World Championship, tour stops and locations where signifcant events in the history of the championship took place.
The U.W.C. Wall Map has been exhibited at a solo show at The Hlemmur Gallery in Reykjavik (2003) and a duo-show at Temple Bar Gallery and Studios in Dublin (2004).
